Hyun Gyu Lim has some power, that's for sure. Lim and Pascal Krauss engaged in a fun welterweight fight at UFC 164, but it was the Korean fighter that did most of the damage. Lim had Krauss walking in potholes for a little while with a big shot to the chin and while Krauss tried to come back, he was still hurt. Lim took advantage and put him down and out for good to pick up his second straight TKO win in the UFC. The finish came at 3:58 of the first round.
Both men showed no aversion to striking in the first part of the fight, with each landing some solid punches. Krauss was scoring with a nice jab and getting inside with some solid rights. Lim was coming back with two-punch combos and connected with some left hooks. Lim hurt Krauss badly with a shot that had him on dream street, but he was able to shake it off and came back to hurt Lim a bit. He was still hurt though, and Lim connected with a monsterous knee that put Krauss down. A couple more punches and it was over.
Lim moved to 2-0 in the UFC with the win, while Krauss fell to 1-2. It was the first time in his career that Krauss had been finished.
