Good news for MMA fans who do not receive Fox Sports 2. According to UFC president Dana White (and later tweeted by Ariel Helwani), the October 26th UFC Fight Night: Bisping vs. Munoz card has been switched from Fox Sports 2 to Fox Sports 1:
Dana says the Bisping-Munoz main card has been moved from FS 2 to FS 1.— Ariel Helwani (@arielhelwani) August 29, 2013
The event takes place in Manchester, England with a 3 PM ET/12 PM PT start time. Presumably there will be a night time replay as has been the case for other daytime UFC events that have aired on the Fox networks. Of course, this card will go up against college football, but it's realistically inescapable this time of the year.
It's still a great sign that the UFC is airing European events live on a regular basis and on the main Fox Sports channel. During the Spike TV era, the network would frequently tape-delay any cards in Europe (such as UFC 70, 75, 89, etc.) to primetime with an additional 3 hour delay on the West Coast. Now US-based UFC fans can watch overseas shows live across all time zones.
Also scheduled for the card are Ross Pearson/Melvin Guillard, John Lineker/Phil Harris, and Ryan Jimmo/Jimi Manuwa. There's no word on what network the preliminary card fights will air on, but the recent Condit vs. Kampmann card saw prelim action on both FS2 and FS1.
