Bellator is going all out for their first pay-per-view, that's for sure. Their November 2nd event in Long Beach, labeled Bellator 106, has added a third title fight underneath the big light heavyweight headliner. Bellator featherweight champion Pat Curran will defend his title against Daniel Straus. Bellator tweeted the news a little while ago:
Curran (19-4) picked up the title by knocking out Joe Warren last year, and has since defended it twice by beating Patricio Freire and Shahbulat Shamhalaev. Straus (21-4) won the season six featherweight tournament and was expected to challenge Curran in May, but an injury and some legal troubles have delayed the fight until now.
As mentioned, this is the third title bout added to the card. Michael Chandler will defend his lightweight title in a rematch with Eddie Alvarez, while King Mo Lawal will take on Emanuel Newton for the promotion's interim light heavyweight title. The main event will see Quinton Jackson facing off with Tito Ortiz.
