Today we get a playoff worthy card for the semifinals, stacked with good matchups that will separate the good pickers from the great, and the mediocre from the truly awful (LANKY).
Ron Swanson's Duane Banzgillians looked like the team to beat for much of the season, then totally imploded, then eliminated the on fire SDPA in the quarters. The Fuken Magi took lanky to the woodshed in their quarterfinal matchup, taking turns doing unspeakable things to the BOPWP captains in one of the worst playoff thrashings in BECW history.
On the other side of the bracket we have the JDH led Fox Blockers coming off the closest win in the quarters, defeating the 11 Inchers by only 28 points. They are facing off against Beauties and the Beard, led by the facial hair of yours truly. The Beauties look to vanquish the last of the Fallon Fox named teams after dispatching CLYDESTAFF in the quarters.
NON WINNERS SECTION
In the consolation bracket, SDPA will look to add to the humiliation of lanky, while the 11 Inchers match up with CLYDESTAFF.
In the Bland Prix, Andy Anderson looks to put the final touches on the worst team in BECW history, and yet is somehow still a better captain than lanky. It is a fascinating paradox. They are joined by former champion turned loser PFP, Houston's 2nd best BECW captain Sugel, and the team that always picks high as mandated by their name, Rosenthal's Field of Dreams led by Marcu$.
