The inaugural event for FS1 got started on Facebook at the TD Garden Arena in Boston, MA. The first three fights delivered plenty of action with almost every kind of ending.

Prior to the big debut on Fox Sports 1, UFC Fight Night: Shogun vs. Sonnen got started with three fights on the Facebook prelims. Despite the absolutely horrid pacing, the fights delivered with the first two bouts both ending in the first round. The final fight saw Manny and Miller going to decision in an exciting back-and-forth bout.

Cole Miller (19-7) vs. Manny Gamburyan (12-7)

The Featherweight fight got off to a slow start. The huge height disparity made it hard for Manny to get inside. Miller successfully kept him at bay through most of the first round with his jab and kicks. Gamburyan finally scored a takedown with a little over a minute left. In the closing seconds, Miller returned to his feet then unleashed some elbows to Manny's head as the round closed. Manny complained of illegal blows and being dazed after the bell, but eventually said he could continue.

It didn't take long for Manny to get a takedown in round 2, but Cole made him pay for it. After returning to his feet, he hit Gamburyan with elbows and knees that left Manny bleeding. "The Anvil" got Miller down again and it took longer for Cole to get up this time. Again, when he did, he punished Gamburyan with elbows. Another takedown, but Miller got back up and separated this time.

They started off the final round trading back and forth on the feet. Miller landed some solid strikes, but Manny was willing to eat a couple in order to land a couple looping hooks of his own. Miller hit Gamburyan with a well timed knee and Manny went right in for the takedown. Manny struggled to to pass Millers guard and the action slowed down. Cole tried to return to his feet, but got dumped back down. They exchanged flurries from guard before the final bell sounded.

Manny Gamburyan beat Cole Miller by uanimous decision (30-27, 29-28 x2)

Ovince St. Preux (13-5) vs. Cody Donovan (8-2)

Donovan made it a dirty fight from the opening bell. He got inside St. Preux's reach to clinch up. After a minute and half of clinch work he scored the takedown only to be immediately reversed. After Donovan regained guard, OSP let loose with a series of left hands to score the TKO victory.

Ovince St. Preux TKO'd Cody Donovan at  2:07 of round 1.

Ramsey Nijem (7-3) vs. James Vick (4-0)

Ramsey came out trying to press the action early. A couple ineffective low kicks led to him division for a single leg. Vick defended well with a heavy sprawl before being pushed against the cage. Nijem got him down for a second before Vick locked on a front choke. Nijem tried to roll out, but Vick tightened the choke up to get the tap.

James Vick submitted Ramsey Nijem at 0:58 of round 1.
