Knuckle Up #462: No Troll: UFC 162 Silva v. Weidman a Straight Work: FACT!

Host Eugene S. Robinson goes socratically medieval on your asses and presents, for your consideration, and with the able assistance of early UFC fighter EUGENE JACKSON and BJJ great LEOPOLDO SERAO, a fact-based inquiry into the shonda that was UFC 162.

Knuckle Up #462: KNUCKLE UP Investigative Host EUGENE S. ROBINSON smells something rotten in Denmark and identifies it as the mystery wrapped inside of the enigma that was UFC 162 with all of his picks propitiously on the money but for the last and biggest ANDERSON SILVA v. CHRIS WEIDMAN. Robinson posits foul play and puts a face on the conspiratorial murmurings that are on the lips of friends and foes alike in light of the "suddenly" reinvigorated MW division, and a moneymaking series guaranteed to make the bank of SILVA v. SONNEN 2 look like babysitting scratch.

Agree or disagree, arguing from both sides of the coin Robinson looks at the irrefutability of the facts as they stand. And is not at all disappointed with the outcome. Just wants it known that while that "fooling some of the people some of the time" shit works in movies, this is real life and peddling that to the cheapseats and newbies is fine, but selling it to the rest of us? Ill-advised.

And with UFC legend EUGENE "THE WOLF" JACKSON and BJJ powerhouse LEOPOLDO SERAO rounding out the trio, tis a show to remember. OR immediately forget as soon as Charles in Charge comes on.

Eugene S. Robinson host of Knuckle Up and author of Fight: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Ass-Kicking but Were Afraid You'd Get Your Ass Kicked for Asking[Harper Collins], A LONG SLOW SCREW [Robotic Boot] and a play called THE INIMITABLE SOUNDS OF LOVE; A THREESOME IN FOUR ACTS [Southern] also sings for a band called OXBOW and appeared in Bill Cosby's Leonard Part 6, a Miller Genuine Draft commercial, and had his own TV show in Germany called? "The Eugene Robinson Show." And in a weirder moment yet? Co-hosted with ESPN's STUART SCOTT a Superbowl fashion show in Tampa [don't ask].
