UFC 162: Anderson Silva tells interviewer that losing by KO to Chris Weidman would be the 'perfect' ending

In a bizarre pre-fight interview with Sports Net Canada, former UFC Middleweight champ Anderson Silva told Showtime Joe Ferraro that losing by KO to Chris Weidman at UFC 162 would be the perfect outcome.

Fans are still struggling to come to terms with Chris Weidman's KO win over Anderson Silva at UFC 162. Here's a pre-fight video that is sure to stoke conspiracy theories. Then UFC Middleweight champ Anderson Silva spoke to Sports Net Canada's Showtime Joe Ferraro. Things are weird from the get go with Silva clowning and pretending to be scared of Weidman but at the end things get really strange.

At 5:02 of the interview Ferraro asks Silva "If you had a perfect fight against Chris Weidman on Saturday night, what is your perfect fight?"

Silva: "CHRIS WEIDMAN (makes crowd noise) CHRIS WEIDMAN!!! CHRIS WEIDMAN is the best in the world! Chris Weidman is the new champion de UFC!"

Ferraro: "Because there would be a rematch after that?"

Silva: "No man. I'm tired bro. No rematch. I'm tired. I win, I win, I win. Go back for all the fights. Please."

While I think there was a huge element of sarcasm in Silva's comments, it's also a very revealing comment and consistent with his post-fight "no rematch" talk.
