UFC on Fox 8: Johnson vs. Moraga fight card

David Banks-USA TODAY Sports

A look at the UFC's return to Seattle on July 27th, which features another title fight live on Fox television.

The city of Seattle is probably eager for football season to start, as the Mariners are well on their way to another season of atrocious baseball. But before the Seahawks lose 25 more players to adderall suspensions, there's the matter of the UFC returning to the Emerald City on July 27th at KeyArena. Demetrious Johnson will defend his flyweight title against John Moraga in the main event, having already beaten John Dodson in the main event of UFC on Fox 6.

In the co-main event, welterweight contenders Jake Ellenberger and Rory MacDonald meet in what should be a fantastic spectacle. Rory's last fight in Seattle saw him dominate B.J. Penn at UFC on Fox 5. Ellenberger starched Nate Marquardt at UFC 158. The rest of the main card includes Liz Carmouche against newcomer Jessica Andrade, and a slugfest in the making between Robbie Lawler and Siyar Bahadurzada.

If you want a "blast from the past" from the prelims, then go watch Melvin Guillard, Aaron Riley, Spencer Fisher, Yves Edwards, and Ed Herman, all of whom had at least one UFC fight in 2006.

This is what the card looks like so far, with the main card broadcast scheduled for 8 PM ET/5 PM PT on FOX:
