Number 4 on my list is Bibiano Fernandes.Bibiano has spent almost his whole career fighting in Asia. Having fought for Dream were he was there inagural featherweight champion and ingural Bantamweight champion which he won both belts by winning tourments. Bibiano has beaten Former Bellator featherweight champion Joe Warren, Former Dream lightweight champion and pride veteran Joachim Hansen, and former Ufc Batamweight fighter, Wec veteran, and John Hackleman Pit Fighter Antonio Banuelos. Bibiano has a complete martial atrs game being able to knock guys out or submit them from his back. Lets look at some of Bibiano's wins, let's start with joe warren.

Bibiano Fernandes vs Joe Warren - DREAM 11 (via Johnny Maik)

This fight was the semi final round of a 16 man tournement to decide the inagural Dream Featherweight Champion. Both men were coming of solid wins. Joe Warren in his first fight beat up a Former Wec Bantamweight champion Chase Beebe. Warren then out Wrestled Kid Yamamoto who at the time had a record of 17-1-1 and had beat Bibano by decison two years before. Bibiano beat both his oppents handley from what i saw and one of the oppents he beat was Masakazu Imanari who at the time was the Deep Bantamweight. The fight starts of with Warren throwing a body kick and a looping left hook before Bibano clinches. Both guys has over under but Warren has wrist control.Bibiano throws a few knees before Warren gets a body lock and takes Bibiano down. Bibiano scrambles and gets back to his feet. Bibiano throws a few leg kicks before Warren rushs him with a double. Warren Switches to body lock and slams Bibiano down. Bibiano tries to control Joe's head while Joe hits him with some body shots and hammer fists. While Warren was throwing punches he left his other arm right in Bibiano's chest for armbar position. Bibiano quickly capitalizes and flails his hips out and grabs the arm. Joe stands up but Bibiano pops the hips and until he is flat and the ref stops it.Now off his back Bibiano hit a great armbar in seconds. The way it was so basic is why it is impressive. That was Jiu Jiutsu 101 right there and Bibiano excelled. Now let's look at the quick TKO of Antonio Banuelos.

bibiano fernandes vs antonio banuelos evento (Dream new year! 2011) (via aguinaldo lourenço)

Both men coming off a win earlier that night were fighting in the finals for the Bantamweight Title. Banuelos had wins in the Wec over Scotty Jorgensen and Cole Escovedo but was cut from Zuffa after a decison loss to former Wec champion and one of the faces of the promoion Miguel Torres. The fight starts with a little flurry against the ropes. Both guys bounce around and Bibiamo checks a kick then hits Banuelos with a body kick soon after. Bibiano goes after Banuelos and clocks him with a right hand thats makes Bsnuelos go wobbley and fall down. Bibano immdiately starts dropping bombs from the standing guard then briefly goes to side control and lays down a few more punches before it's over. The reason why Bibiano should be in the Ufc is because he is young and has a ton of talent. He can knock guys out and has good jiu jiustu. He was rumored to fight Roland Delorme at Ufc 149 but instead singed wiht One FC for a bigger payday. Bibiano who have most likely killed Delorme in the first round. Another reason is because the Ufc needs more Bantamweights. The only contenders left besides Faber are Yuri Alcantara, Raphael Assunção, TJ Dillashaw, and Brad Pickett. Barao would be the favorite over every one of those guys and with Faber moat likely beating Alcantara he out of the picture and so is the loser of Pickett Mcdonald. That leaves 3 guys left besides Cruz to fight for the belt, thats pathetic. Bibiano can definetly at least be mid tier and would be a good guy too get in the title picture. Hope you guys enjoy this post and please leave some comments about the post.
