UFC 162: Dana White video blog, part 1

UFC president Dana White is back with a video blog for UFC 162: Silva vs. Weidman.

UFC president Dana White has posted his usual video blog for each event, which you can check out above. I'll give you a brief rundown of what happened over the nine and a half minutes, if you don't have the chance to watch. Don't worry, you're not really missing a lot.

  • Hype for 162, talking about International Fight Week.
  • Dana and Craig drive up on some dude that's stopped in the middle of the road, passed out. Craig gets out and taps on his window, and he takes off. They pull up to him at a light and talk to him on right in front of the Excalibur, which is pretty humorous.
  • Colton Smith (I think) has a doctor look at a massive cut under his eye, then gets a needle in at at UFC 160. Gross.
  • Some more assorted stuff from 160, including Chuck Liddell, Royce Gracie, and Mike Tyson clowning around backstage.
  • Liddell teaches Uriah Hall how to throw his patented looping right.
  • Dana talks to the winners before the UFC 160 post-fight press conference, and tells T.J. Grant he's getting the title shot against Ben Henderson.
  • They show Forrest Griffin waiting as Dana announces his retirement at that same press conference.
