UFC on Fox 8: Johnson vs. Moraga fight card

David Banks-USA TODAY Sports

A look at next week's UFC on Fox 8 card live from Seattle, WA, as flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson battles John Moraga in the title fight main event.

UFC on Fox 8 has been littered with injuries, and as a result we've lost several of the original fights scheduled for this July 27th card. Thankfully, the main and co-main event have not been affected, and they're both interesting match-ups. UFC flyweight champion (and new father) Demetrious Johnson aims to extend his reign over the division with a win over challenger John Moraga. The co-feature pits Jake Ellenberger against Rory MacDonald in a battle of welterweight contenders.

Before I list the full card, let's take a look at fights we've lost since the event was finalized a couple of months ago:

Michael Chiesa vs. Reza Madadi (Visa issues for Madadi BEFORE his burglary arrest)
Miesha Tate vs. Liz Carmouche (Tate given TUF 18 coaching gig and title shot vs. Ronda Rousey)
Tarec Saffiedine vs. Robbie Lawler (Saffiedine injured)
Siyar Bahadurzada vs. Robbie Lawler (Bahadurzada injured)
Matt Mitrione vs. Brendan Schaub (Mitrione injured)
Danny Castillo vs. Bobby Green (Green injured)
Spencer Fisher vs. Yves Edwards (Fisher injured)
