Former UFC and WWE champ Brock Lesnar eats big meal

TMZ has broken the Earth-shattering news that Brock Lesnar and his wife Sable had a big meal at an Italian restaurant in New Jersey this week.

Hang on to your iPads kiddies, we've got some HUGE news. Journalistic powerhouse TMZ.com is reporting that former UFC Heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar has ordered, eaten and paid for a big dinner he shared with his wife. Yes, that's right.

Presumably the only reason this story has any significance is that Lesnar's MMA career was cut short by his battles with diverticulitis -- treated with surgery which cut his colon short about a foot.

Here's what TMZ reported Lesnar and Mrs. Lesnar ate:

-- Ahi tuna with asparagus (shared)
-- Margherita pizza (shared)
-- Chicken Parm ... with TRIPLE-EXTRA chicken
-- Full bowl of parpadelle bolognese

... and, to top things off, dude crushed a slice of cheesecake by himself.

We're told the entire meal cost just north of $500 ... PLUS, we're told the WWE star left a "very generous" tip to everyone who stayed past closing time to take care of him.

Of course I'd be journalistically remiss if I didn't point out that the meal took place at Fresco's in Montclair, NJ. Clearly someone on the waitstaff there at Fresco's has a nose for news.

Lesnar is currently back with the WWE although he no longer carries that organization's prestigious title.

Yeah it's a slow day. For once you can complain in the comments about our editorial choices. Go crazy! Blame Kid Nate.
