Michael Bisping squashes sparring KO rumors

After rumors started circulating that he'd been knocked out by a "professional boxer" while sparring, The Count released a video to put a stop to them.

Earlier this week, rumors started circulating that UFC Middleweight Michael Bisping had been recently knocked out by a sparring partner at the Wild Card Boxing Club. According to the story, after "The Count" disrespected a sparring partner, a "professional boxer" stepped in to teach him a lesson and proceeded to relieve Bisping of his consciousness.

The top 5 Middelweight's manager responded to the rumors on Wednesday. He informed MMA Junkie that, not only is the story "complete bullocks", but Bisping hasn't even been to Wild Card since 2012. The Count used a little more colorful language in the video above:

Whoever's saying I got knocked out recently in sparring is full of sh*t. I've never been knocked out sparring in my life.

He added on Twitter:

Bisping spoke more about his eye injury last month. Once he's recovered from the surgery, he'll need to get ready for his upcoming bout against Mark Munoz. While the event isn't yet official, the two are scheduled to meet on October 26th. The UFC on Fox Sports 1 event is expected to go down in Manchester, England, but the UFC informed fans today that the location is not yet official.
