Flyweight bouts Ian McCall vs. Iliarde Santos, John Lineker vs. Phil Harris added to UFC 163

Steve Mitchell-US PRESSWIRE

Two new flyweight fights are set for UFC 163 in Brazil, with one of them marking the return of "Uncle Creepy".

The UFC will return to Brazil on August 3rd in Rio de Janeiro for UFC 163. Last night during the UFC on Fuel 10 main card, the UFC confirmed the following flyweight contests: Ian McCall vs. Iliarde Santos and John Lineker vs. Phil Harris.

McCall (11-4-1) is the #3 ranked flyweight in the UFC's official rankings, but he's yet to record a UFC win. He went 0-1-1 against Demetrious Johnson, although if the scorecards were tallied correctly in the first fight he certainly wouldn't have fought him twice. "Uncle Creepy" then lost an entertaining unanimous decision to Joseph Benavidez at UFC 156.

Santos (15-5-1) was annihilated by Yuri Alcantara at UFC on FX 8, but that came on late notice so he's been given another chance and in a new weight class.

Lineker (21-6) is known for his high offensive output, and he's won his last two against Azamat Gashimov and Yasuhiro Urushitani. The Brazilian actually defeated Iliarde Santos at bantamweight before he made his UFC debut last year.

Harris (22-10, 1 NC) was submitted by Darren Uyenoyama in his UFC debut, but the Brit bounced back with a win over Ulysses Gomez at UFC on Fuel 7 in London.

These fights should cap the UFC 163 fight total at 13. Tomorrow evening you'll get a look at the full card, led by a featherweight title defense by Jose Aldo against Anthony Pettis in the main event.
