Video: UFC's Cub Swanson trains with boxing champ Timothy Bradley

Watch UFC contender Cub Swanson train with boxing champion, Timothy Bradley

UFC featherweight contender Cub Swanson went to the same school as current WBO boxing champion Timothy Bradley, and the two friends caught up to train together. Both men went to do a circuit of strength and conditioning workouts, with Swanson helping give his childhood buddy a taste of these revolutionary workouts that MMA fighters usually go through.

Although Bradley is known for his conditioning, it was his first taste of these kinds of workouts, and it was interesting to see a high level athlete go through a workout more commonly seen in MMA than in other combat sports.

FUEL TV filmed the training session as part of the UFC Ultimate Insider series, so if you missed the broadcast you can watch the clip above.

Swanson has been climbing the 145 ladder, and is currently preparing for his UFC 162 bout against Dennis Siver. His boxing counterpart in Bradley, who is known for his controversial split decision win over Manny Pacquiao, is currently training for his November clash against Juan Manuel Marquez.
