Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira's surgery a success, could face Stefan Struve next

Big Nog had successful arm surgery last week, and is now ready for his next UFC challenge. And that could very well be Stefan Struve.

Former Pride and interim UFC champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira might be 37, but he is showing no signs of looking at retirement. Big Nog (34-8-1, 1 NC) was submitted by Fabricio Werdum in the main event of UFC on Fuel 10 and was forced to undergo minor surgery after the bout. According to UFC Tonight though, the surgery was a "big success" and he'll start training again in August. So who will he face in his next trip to the octagon? It could very well be Stefan Struve.

Struve (25-6), who is recovering from a broken jaw at the hands of Mark Hunt in March, tweeted yesterday that he'd like to face off with Nogueira next:

MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani asked Big Nog about it, and reported on UFC Tonight that he was down for the fight:

"Stefan Struve has called for a fight with Big Nog. Big Nog has made a statement to Struve: ‘The bigger they are, the harder they fall. Let's get it on.'"

Personally, I love that fight. It's a good style matchup, and both men are sitting just outside the top 10 right now. This seems like logical matchmaking and I hope they can get it set up for late in the year.

Minor update: Struve responds to Big Nog's comment:
