UFC 162: Silva vs. Weidman main card set with five fights

The UFC 162 card on July 6th now has a set main card with five fights on tap.

The UFC's annual Independence Day card will go down on July 6th in Las Vegas and like last year, the UFC middleweight title will be up for grabs in the main event. Champion Anderson Silva will defend his belt against top contender and undefeated Chris Weidman. Most of the other top-level bouts that have been added to the card so far are in the middleweight or featherweight divisions. Besides the title matchup, Tim Boetsch will take on the returning Mark Munoz in a big 185-pound fight in the featured prelim bout, while Roger Gracie and Tim Kennedy will make their UFC debuts against each other.

At 145, Chan Sung Jung and Ricardo Lamas will meet in a top contenders bout while former lightweight champ Frankie Edgar meets Charles Oliveira. In addition to that, Dennis Siver will fight Cub Swanson.
