Memorial Day Murph

Today is Memorial Day.

Although I'm Korean and I don't have any relative in military, I still show a lot of respect to US and Korea Troops!

And to celebrate(?) Memorial Day, I decided to do a Memorial Day Murph workout.

It is

1 mile run

100 pull ups

200 push ups

300 squats

1 mile run

I honestly didn't know anything about this workout until yesterday. My friend who's a hardcore crossfitter asked me if I wanted to do it. I went through a lot of stuff recently which also led me to smoke few cigarettes (I know it's terrible habit and I quitted until some heavy shit happened in my life =( I won't smoke again) and I ate lots of junk food without working out at all. And now I decided to go back to healthy life and start training again, I took that offer and I just finished it.

I broke those reps down by doing 20 rounds of Cindy (5 pull ups, 10 push ups, and 15 squats). I didn't run as fast as I could and I didn't do those reps as fast as I could. I tried to pace myself and it still tired to crap out of me. I barely did last 20 pull ups =(.

Honestly it wasn't a good record by any means. I finished in 56:30. For people who work out regularly finish in about 45~50 mins so I have some works to do but I'm not ashamed since it was my first MDM and I know I can make some improvements.

So how would other BE members to give this a try?
