Upcoming UFC fights and events from August to September

A look at a busy lineup of UFC events this August and September, including three shows on the new Fox Sports 1 channel.

Normally we put up quick posts with a brief rundown of an individual UFC card, but on this occasion we'll take a look at the incredibly busy schedule towards the end of summer and beginning of autumn. There are four scheduled cards in August and two more in September, and there will be a stretch of three shows in a week from August 28th to September 4th.

Here's a list of dates and fights to remember for upcoming UFC shows as we draw nearer to the "Fox Sports 1" era:

August 3rd - UFC 163: Aldo vs. Pettis (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)

-- Demian Maia vs. Josh Koscheck
-- Sergio Moraes vs. Neil Magny

August 17th - UFC on Fox Sports 1: Boston (TD Garden)

-- Thiago Alves vs. Matt Brown

-- Conor McGregor vs. TBA

August 28th - UFC on Fox Sports 1: Indianapolis (Bankers Life Fieldhouse)

No fights rumored yet.

August 31st - UFC 164 (Bradley Center, Milwaukee, WI)

-- Brandon Vera vs. Ben Rothwell
-- Diego Sanchez vs. TBA
-- Alistair Overeem vs. TBA

September 4th - UFC on Fox Sports 1: Brasilia (Nilson Nelson Gymnasium)

No fights rumored yet. Main card will air live from 8 PM ET to 10 PM ET.

September 4th - The Ultimate Fighter: Rousey vs. Zingano season premiere

This will air immediately following the live event from Brazil and then every Wednesday at 10 PM ET/PT.

September 21st - UFC 165 (Air Canada Centre, Toronto, ON)
