Bloody Elbow presents their UFC on FX 8 fight card primer, previewing all the action at UFC on FX 8: Belfort vs. Rockhold live from Brazil. Here, we look at the main card, with Jacare, Dos Anjos vs. Dunham, and more.

Today, the UFC is back in Brazil for UFC on FX 8. Headlined by a big Middleweight fight between Vitor Belfort and Luke Rockhold, the show also features a number of Brazilian fighters in action on the four fight main card. Here, we take a look at the main card fights in our Bloody Elbow fight card primer series. Be sure to check out our primer on the prelims, plus check back later for details on Belfort vs. Rockhold.

UFC on FX 8 is live from Brazil this Saturday May 18, with the main card beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. PT.

Ronaldo Souza (17-3(1) MMA; UFC Debut) vs. Chris Camozzi (19-5 MMA; 6-2 UFC) - Middleweight

This one is all about the UFC debut of Jacare Souza. The former Strikeforce Middleweight champion (who lost the belt to Rockhold) is one of the most exciting talents coming over from Strikeforce. He's an incredible grappler and submission artist - one of the best MMA has ever seen. He's also developed a stronger wrestling and striking game to add to his jiu jitsu. He has the potential to be an immediate top level talent in the UFC. Camozzi is a former TUF contestant. He started his UFC career just 2-2, but in 2012 he had a great year, going 3-0. In his last two fights, he has scored big wins over Nick Ring and Luiz Cane. It's easy to write him off here, but his current 4 fights win streak deserves attention.

Rafael dos Anjos (18-6 MMA; 7-4 UFC) vs. Evan Dunham (14-3 MMA; 7-3 UFC) - Lightweight

Close fight here between two staples of the UFC Lightweight division. Both of these men have been fringe contenders in the UFC's most stacked division for over 4 years, though neither man has yet really put together the win streak to get himself into contention. Dos Anjos is hot right now, riding a 3 fight win streak that includes a victory over the tough Mark Bocek in his last fight. For his part, Dunham is coming off a win over Gleison Tibau in February. There's a common train of thought that Dunham has been inconsistent lately, but he's 3-1 in his last 4 against a high level of competition. This is a tough, pick 'em fight that should be a good one with Fight of the Night potential.

Rafael Natal (15-4-1 MMA; 3-2-1 UFC) vs. Joao Zeferino (13-4 MMA; UFC Debut) - Middleweight

Kind of a weird fight here for the main card. Rafael "Sapo" Natal is a Brazilian fighter who now works with the Renzo Gracie academy. A skilled jiu jitsu fighter (naturally), he made his UFC debut in 2010. He's had a decent Octagon run, though not spectacular. He was originally set to face Camozzi here, but when Costa Philippou dropped out of the fight with Jacare, Camozzi got the call up and newcomer Joao Zeferino was plugged in. Zeferino is an 8 year pro, though only fought sporadically before 2009. He's fought primarily on smaller Brazil shows, and has not faced any particularly notable opposition. This is a serious step up for him.
