UFC 164: Alistair Overeem looking to return to action on Milwaukee card

Former Strikeforce and K-1 Heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem is expected to make his Octagon return at UFC 164 on August 31 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Dutch Heavyweight Alistair Overeem may be returning to UFC action late this summer at the promotion's August 31 UFC 164 card to be held at Milwaukee's Bradley Center. Overeem (36-12, 1-1 UFC), the former Strikeforce and K-1 Heavyweight champion had to bow out of a UFC 160 bout against Junior dos Santos due to injury.

He last fought at UFC 156 in February where he was knocked out by Antonio "Big Foot" Silva, breaking Reem's 12 fight and six year win streak. He had been scheduled to fight then-champ dos Santos for the title at UFC 146 but failed a pre-fight urine test for elevated testosterone ratios and had to sit out a one-year suspension.

Overeem's t-levels actually came in at a level generally considered dangerously low for an adult male when he was tested prior to UFC 156.

Prior to that he made his Octagon debut by thrashing ex-champ Brock Lesnar at UFC 141.

The only other bout teased so far for UFC 164 is a possible Lightweight bout featuring Diego Sanchez.
