One more fight appears to be on tap for UFC on Fuel 10: Nogueira vs. Werdum in Fortaleza, Brazil. Tatame reports that Brazilian bantamweight Raphael Assuncao will fight England's Vaughan Lee on June 8th.
Assuncao (18-4) recently pulled off an upset win over Mike Easton at UFC on Fox 5 in December. He's now won his last 3 fights (all at 135 lbs) after suffering a KO loss in his UFC debut against Erik Koch at featherweight. It should be noted that Assuncao broke his arm in the Easton fight. Assuncao is the #6 ranked bantamweight in the UFC's official rankings page.
Lee (13-8-1) picked up an uneventful decision win over Motonobu Tezuka at UFC on Fuel 7 in London, England last February. His UFC losses have come against Chris Cariaso and T.J. Dillashaw, while his only other UFC win was an upset submission victory over Kid Yamamoto.
The addition of Assuncao/Lee means 13 fights are scheduled for this card (if you count the TBD TUF Brazil 2 finalists). It could be indicative of the quality of TUF Brazil 2 this season, or a sign that the UFC won't just sign every TUFer from country to country while they're in the process of a roster purge.
