UFC odds roundup: Ronda Rousey opens as huge favorite over Cat Zingano

USA TODAY Sports

Ronda Rousey will be a gigantic betting favorite when she steps into the cage with Cat Zingano later this year.

Since I've been on vacation for the past little while, it's time to catch up on some recent betting lines that have dropped. I'll focus on UFC on Fox 8 tomorrow, but for today there are three new ones to discuss. The biggest being a women's 135-pound title fight between TUF 18 coaches Ronda Rousey and Cat Zingano that will go down later this year. Unsurprisingly, Rousey is a massive favorite (all lines via BestFightOdds):

Here is MMA Odds Breaker's analysis of the line. Rousey opened on 5Dimes at -765, and it's up to -825 there now. BetOnline is offering the slightly better -725 at the moment. Still though, this doesn't look like a line that anyone should be touching.

Next up are two lightweight fights. The first takes place on the main card of UFC on FX 8 on May 18th, with Evan Dunham taking on Rafael dos Anjos. Here's the current line:

Once again, here's MMA Odds Breaker's original analysis. They opened it at -170/+130, and it moved a bit in RDA's direction. This line is being offered by a bunch of different books now though. This is a fight I wouldn't be betting on either. Dos Anjos has been on a great streak lately, but I still think Dunham can be a top guy in the division and it's too close for me to call. I would make a prop bet on it winning fight of the night if I could find one though, and I don't even like props.

Finally, there's the UFC 160 lightweight bout between Donald Cerrone and former Strikeforce fighter K.J. Noons. As expected, Cerrone's the favorite:

I wouldn't normally have a lot of love for a -260 line, but I do here. Cerrone is a much better kickboxer than Noons is, and he's the better all-round fighter as well. This is the bout where Cerrone gets back on the winning side of things in a big way. Bet on Cowboy.
