The past few weeks have seen a tremendous amount of great, pick'em fights in boxing. Brandon Rios vs. Mike Alvarado, Guillermo Rigondeaux vs. Nonito Donaire, Canelo Alvarez vs. Austin Trout - all have been very close fights that were tough to predict heading in.

Sergio Martinez vs. Martin Murray is not one of those fights.

If we're being honest, this is not a super competitive fight. Sergio Martinez is one of boxing's elite - a fighter who stands just a notch below Floyd Mayweather on the pound for pound list, right alongside men like Juan Manuel Marquez and Andre Ward. He's coming off an impressive 11 round domination (and 1 round of pure drama) against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. His opponent here, Martin Murray, is an undefeated fighter out of England. He's not bad - but he's not Sergio Martinez. None the less, this is a fight to watch. Why? Simple: Argentina.

Martinez vs. Murray takes place live from this incredible soccer stadium in Argentina. It's the first time Martinez has fought in his home country in over 10 years. In that Chavez fight, the fans were incredible, creating an amazing electric atmosphere. I can only imagine what that atmosphere will be like on Saturday night.

So yes, this is something of a victory lap for Martinez, and not a fight where the winner is in much doubt. But that's not why I'm tuning in. I'm tuning in for the spectacle - to see one of today's best perform in an incredible arena in front of passionate fans. It's going to be something special.

The Sergio Martinez fight headlines a triple-header on HBO. Opening the card will be a Heavyweight battle with Chris Arreola vs. Bermane Stiverne. That will be followed by Luis Carlos Abregu vs. Antonin Decarie. The Arreola vs. Stiverne fight will be held in California, while Abregu vs. Decarie is in the Argentina stadium.

UPDATE: Due to rain, the Abregu vs. Decarie fight was moved to an unaired prelim, with Martinez vs. Murray now airing prior to Arreola vs. Stiverne.

Sergio Martinez def. Martin Murray by unanimous decision (115-112 x 3)
Bermane Stiverne def. Chris Arreola by unanimous decision (117-110, 117-110, 118-109)
