The latest UFC fighter rankings are out, and for the first time this month we're seeing a noticeable shift in a couple of the men's divisions. Josh Thomson's KO win over Nate Diaz sparked a significant change in the #5-10 part of the LW rankings. Thomson vaulted into the #8 position, while Nate Diaz fell from #4 to #6. Jim Miller takes Diaz's spot at #4 while Donald Cerrone moves up to #5. Rafael Dos Anjos and Khabib Nurmagomedov round out the top 10 while T.J. Grant stays at #7. For the record, Gilbert Melendez remains the #1 LW behind Ben Henderson.
Meanwhile, Daniel Cormier's decision win over Frank Mir put Cormier at #2 in the heavyweight division while Mir dropped to #7, immediately behind Roy Nelson and immediately ahead of Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. The final major rankings change came in the flyweight division, where Darren Uyenoyama swapped the #8-#9 placing with John Lineker following his TKO loss to Joseph Benavidez.
