UFC champ Ronda Rousey spoke to Fuel TV's Heidi Androl and laid down a marker: "no Snooki's" on The Ultimate Fighter while she's coaching, referring to the infamous star of the Jersey Shore reality show. Rousey will be coaching the show's first ever co-ed season opposite Cat Zingano.
Zingano beat Miesha Tate to earn the right to challenge Rousey for the title following the season.
Here's what Rousey had to say:
"I'm gonna tell the girls look, if you're fooling around in the house you will be forever known as the girl who was not so classy and the guy will always be the guy who hey, got laid in the house. So I expect the girls to be trying to hold it down and keep order in the house."
"There will be no Snookis on my team."
"I'm going to have to remind these girls that this is the first impression you're setting for women MMA fighters because this is a lot of exposure that they're going to be getting.
"If they're the chick that was screwing around the house, for the rest of their career they're going to be known as the chick that was screwing around the house. Sponsors are going to be looking at that. Everybody's going to be looking at that."
"If you think it's $100,000 worth of that lay (in potential lost sponsorships), then go for it, but I'm just going to remind them that there's a lot of very permanent consequences to how they carry themselves in the house."
