The second ever women's UFC bout is on the card with Miesha Tate taking on Cat Zingano with the winner getting a shot at UFC champ Ronda Rousey. Heavyweight Travis Browne is looking to bounce back from his first career loss when he takes on Gabriel Gonzaga. Finally, Robert McDaniel will take on Gilbert Smith in a middleweight bout.

So make sure to come back and share your thoughts in the comments as the event goes down.

Bubba McDaniel vs. Gilbert Smith - Round 1 - Bubba with a nice flurry and hard combination and now Smith catches a kick and gets the takedown with it. Bubba with a nice reversal to end up on top and he's in Smith's half guard. Smith reverses back to end up on top again. Bubba tries for a choke, ends up using it as a sweep and he finishes the round with some ground and pound. 10-9 McDaniel.

Round 2 - A lot of work against the cage early. At distance Bubba is just picking away, now he shoots and he gets locked ina really deep guillotine. Bubba is defending and he's on top in half guard and gets his head free. Bubba works from the top for a bit and eventually Smith is able to get up. This fight isn't what one would call "good." A few punches from Bubba and the round ends. 10-9 McDaniel.

Round 3 - Smith with a left hand and Bubba with a right hand in return. Smith shoots and pulls half guard. Bubba is able to eventually end up locking in a triangle in a scramble and get the finish with an armbar from the position. Bubba McDaniel wins by submission (triangle armbar), round 3.

Travis Browne vs. Gabriel Gonzaga - Round 1 - Gonzaga tries for a takedown off a high kick from Browne but Browne is able to keep standing. Gonzaga presses him into the cage. Gonzaga really working for the takedown but he's not really getting anywhere with it. Browne grabs the fence. Browne with a flurry of elbows to the side (and back) of the head as Gonzaga is going for the takedown and Gonzaga goes down and it's over. Travis Browne wins by TKO (elbows), round 1. A lot of those shots (maybe even all of them) looked like they were to the back of the head.

Cat Zingano vs. Miesha Tate - Round 1 - Tate with a big takedown and Cat scrambles to her feet and Tate has a front headlock, throwing a knee to the body. Cat with a knee of her own. Tate trying to push her into the cage and Cat has a really deep guillotine. Tate manages to get out and they trade punches. Tate crushes her with a hard combination and gets a takedown. They're back up and they're trading. Tate is landing big shots. Cat with a sprawl now and she lands a big knee. Tate lands a big shot. Cat with a big uppercut and left hand and Tate with another takedown. That was a blast. 10-9 Tate.

Round 2 - Cat misses a flying knee. Tate with a takedown and she gets it despite Cat's attempts to sweep her. Tate working hard to pass the half guard. Tate looks for an armbar and it's deep, but Cat gets out. Tate gets to mount and throws some really weird hammerfists. Cat manages to end up on top after Tate tried to take her back. Tate looking for a heel hook now. Tate trying for the heel hook still while Cat elbows to the thigh. Tate really torquing the heel hook but can't seem to get the finish. Cat with three solid sots from the top and now opens up with some more. Cat landing more and Tate manages to get up and they are standing and trading punches. Cat lands some good shots as the round ends. 10-9 Tate, but close.

Round 3 - Cat slips after a head kick but gets up. Cat shoots and gets the takedown. Cat does some good work from the top and now Miesha turns and is trying to get out from underneath but Cat is now in side control. Big elbows from Cat. Zingano is really having her way this round. Shoulder strike by Cat. Cat with a big knee as Tate gets up. Cat is blowing her up with knees to the face and the referee is forced to stop the fight. Cat Zingano wins by TKO (knees and elbows), round 3.

Uriah Hall vs. Kelvin Gastelum - Round 1 - Gastelum is coming forward and Hall stands against the cage with his hands down so Gastelum throws a few punches and clinches up with him against the cage. Hall throws a few counters. Gastelum lands a few heavy shots. Gastelum with a takedown and he's working Hall over on the ground now. Hall gets up, shoots and briefly has the takedown. 10-9 Gastelum.

Round 2 - Gastelum with a head kick. Hall with a nice quick jab. Now a right hand counter. Spinning kick to the body and a head kick from Hall. Hall drops to the cage and lowers his hands and that lets Gastelum close distance and get the takedown. Just miserable strategy. Hall is able to reverse and get back to standing to land a few punches and Gastelum pushes him back into the cage. Hall with a takedown. Hall with a few elbows and Gastelum finds some space to get up but does give his back up standing. Gastelum gets slammed down but gets back up and Gastelum lands a punch as the round ends. 10-9 Hall.

Round 3 - Hall lands a low blow with a knee early in the round. Gastelum only wants a couple seconds to recover and they're back at it. Leg kick by Gastelum and Hall lands a few leg kicks ofhis own. Gastelum gets a takedown, has the back, Hall escapes, gets on top and lands some big shots and Gastelum gets up and is able to close distance again because of Hall dropping his hands against the cage. They're back to distance and Hall misses a head kick. Big shot from Gastelum lands. Gastelum is game here even though I thinkhe's on his way to losing a decicion. Gastelum with a big takedown with more than a minute left. Gastelum with a left hand. He goes for an armbar at the very end of the round but can't get it as the horn sounds. I've got it 10-9 Hall to take the win, but Gastelum closed the round well which may have stolen it. Hall fought a really, really dumb fight at times. Far too cocky.

Official scorecards: 29-28 Gastelum, 29-28 Hall, 29-28 Gastelum. Kelvin Gastelum wins by split decision.
