While her next opponent is not yet known, her audience is. Inside MMA announced today via twitter that AXS TV will be airing CFA 11 on May 24th, an event set to include transgender fighter, Fallon Fox's next pro fight.
It's an interesting, if unsurprising, move from AXS TV, as they have always taken an interest in flavor of the moment American MMA promotions. Still, this has a much greater air of risk around it than showing the next Legacy FC or RFA card. Many, even those in full support of Fallon's gender identity, are not wholly comfortable watching her fight other women.
I doubt that it will result in anything other than a ratings boon, at least in the short term, but much like the ill fated EliteXC and later Strikeforce on CBS, MMA is always one failed gimmick or bad public incident from losing casual fans and sponsors. If Fallon blitzes her next opponent and things get especially ugly the fallout could be bad. I personally am hoping for a good competitive fight that sets everyone's mind at ease, but I don't know that live TV is the best place for it.
