UFC and WEC veteran Will Campuzano (11-4) takes on Alan Nascimento (7-0) for the Legacy Flyweight title. Nascimento is a 21-year-old submission specialist hailing from the legendary Chute Boxe gym and is an intriguing prospect at 125-pounds.
In the co-main event features a true veteran of the sport in Din Thomas, who has been fighting MMA since the late 1990's. Thomas' resume reads like a who's who of the early Lightweight division. Thomas has only fought twice in the last three years, but is always a game fighter. He will be taking on former Bellator standout Georgi Karakhanyan (20-3-1) in a Featherweight match. Karakhanyan is in his late twenties and is a skilled fighter, but couldn't get over the hump in Bellator, dropping matches to both Joe Warren and Patricio Freire, but has gone 6-0 since leaving the promotion.
For you grappling fans, BJJ World Champion and ADCC gold medalist Robert Drysdale (5-0) returns to the cage to take on tough journeyman D.J. Linderman (13-4) who has seen time in Bellator, Cage Warriors and World Series of Fighting. Drysdale is one the best pure grapplings to cross over to MMA and is normally quite masterful in his matches. Lingerman is something of a step up for Drysdale, but still not a serious test.
The card airs at 10 PM ET on AXS TV, be sure to join the live discussion right here on Bloody Elbow as the fights unfold.
