Another big welterweight clash is set for UFC on Fox 8 in Seattle, as Robbie Lawler fights Tarec Saffiedine. Officials also announced a lightweight encounter between Danny Castillo and Bobby Green for the same card.

The UFC announced a total of three fights for two different July cards. Heavyweights Dave Herman and Shane Del Rosario will fight in a "loser gets cut" matchup at UFC 162 in Las Vegas on July 6th. Meanwhile, UFC on Fox 8 on July 27th in Seattle receives Tarec Saffiedine/Robbie Lawler and Danny Castillo/Bobby Green:

Saffiedine (14-3) is Strikeforce's final welterweight champion after he upset Nate Marquardt in January. The Belgian went 6-1 in Strikeforce, losing only to Tyron Woodley in 2011. His opponent Lawler (20-9, 1 NC) returned to welterweight at UFC 157 after a 9 year stay at middleweight. Lawler showcased his powerful hands and TKOed Josh Koscheck in February.

Castillo (15-5) rebounded from a KO loss to Michael Johnson in October by sending Paul Sass out of the UFC with a unanimous decision victory. Bobby Green (20-5) memorably rallied to submit Jacob Volkmann at UFC 156 in the 3rd round, extending his win streak to 5.

Herman (21-5) is indeed still in the UFC, but he's lost 3 in a row and was recently suspended and sent to drug rehab after testing positive for marijuana. Del Rosario (11-2) is 0-2 in the UFC with a TKO loss to Stipe Miocic and a violent KO at the hands of Pat Barry.
