UFC 158's Nick Diaz: 'If I was GSP I'd be asking for Anderson Silva. Letting that blow away? That's crazy'

Nick Diaz, who challenges Georges St. Pierre for the UFC Welterweight title at UFC 158 thinks that the champ is "crazy" for letting a super fight with Middleweight champ Anderson Silva blow away.

The UFC has released a new video featuring UFC 158 Welterweight title challenger Nick Diaz. In the video above we see him working the mits and also get the following quote from Diaz about champion Georges St. Pierre:

"I'll tell you right now, I want to fight the No. 1 fighter in the world. I've always said that. I want to fight the No. 1 fighter. Georges never said that. That's the only thing I've ever said negative about Georges, is that, if I were in his place, I would do more. I'd be asking for the Anderson Silva fight. I wouldn't let that blow away. Like, that's crazy."

At one point Diaz' manager Cesar Gracie was putting Diaz forward as a potential opponent for Anderson Silva but the UFC brass showed no interest.

Diaz will get his chance to beat GSP in two weeks in Montreal at UFC 158.
