UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez doesn't believe Fallon Fox should be able to fight women

Current UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez is the latest fighter to express his views on Fallon Fox. He believes that the transgender male-to-female fighter should not be allowed to compete against women.

Cain Velasquez is less than two months away from his title defense against Antonio Silva at UFC 160. The heavyweight champion is perhaps the most prominent MMA fighter thus far to give his opinion on whether or not Fallon Fox should be allowed to compete against women. MMA Fighting's Shaun Al-Shatti has the quotes:

"I don't think she should be able to fight women," Velasquez flatly responded when asked about Fox at a recent media luncheon.

"Having the same bone structure and everything else as a man, I think definitely does give her an advantage."

Cain joins the likes of Miesha Tate and Joe Rogan as "against" Fox competing in women's MMA.

Velasquez also had this to say as far as finding an alternative solution for Fox:

"Maybe have a separate [division], I guess," the UFC heavyweight champion finished. "I don't know. But I don't think that's fair."

The 37-year-old Fox, who fights at featherweight and sports a 2-0 record, is expected to fight in May against Allana Jones in Florida. However, Jones has yet to sign the bout agreement, so this matchup is not yet official.
