Tom Watson: 'Most in my division are on some stuff'

Tom Watson believes that many fighters in the middleweight division of the UFC are on performance enhancing drugs.

British fighter Tom Watson made it clear in his post-fight speech after a win at UFC on Fuel 7 that he is not a fan of PED/TRT use in MMA. He even called out Wanderlei Silva not long after that. Now he's addressing the topic again, but using more vague terms this time. He was asked about what's next for him in a video interview with Rick J. Lee, and this is what the former BAMMA champ had to say:

"It's difficult in my division because I think most in my division are on some stuff, so just whoever is out there to fight. Joe Silva matches pretty good fights. I've got a few injuries to clear up, I haven't got on testosterone to speed up my healing, so we'll see what happens. A lot of people have called out Wanderlei but I think he is staying at 205 and so, it doesn't make a lot of sense to him, so I can understand it. I felt like I could generate some amusement of myself and some of his fans. Chris Camozzi, I think he's won four in a row now in my division, so, maybe that's a fight a few people have been tweeting about. There's so many guys in my division so I'll just see what comes up."

Honestly, I'm not sure why Watson thinks he's going to get fights like this. Silva is still a star, and Camozzi has won four in a row. Watson is 1-1 in the UFC with an average overall record. He did put on a great performance in his last fight but it should be the guy that beat Watson in his debut, Brad Tavares, that faces off with Camozzi next. Not him.
