Trans MMA fighter Fallon Fox today signed a bout agreement with Championships Fighting Alliance for a fight now scheduled for May 24 in Florida, her manager, Brett Atchley, has told Outsports.
Fox is currently scheduled to fight Allana Jones in the tournament semifinal. However, Jones' trainer Glen Bailey told MMA Junkie they're waiting to sign the contract.
And if Jones doesn't sign? Fox's manager Brett Atchley isn't worried:
"They're not going to have a problem finding an opponent," he told Outsports. "Somebody wants to be the one who beats Fallon Fox. And they'll see it as an opportunity to make more money. If Allana Jones doesn't fight, so what? Someone else will."
MMA Mania has more info on the tournament:
Jones defeated Kelsey Desantis via unanimous decision in the opening round of the 145-pound tournament at CFA 10 earlier this month, while Fox scored a 39-second knockout of Ericka Newsome on the same card.
Meanwhile former WWE star Hulk Hogan is cashing in on the publicity around Fox to grab a little bit of attention:
"I'll whip her, I mean I'll whip him, I'll whip her, I'm confused. I'll pin her, submission," Hogan recently told TMZ.com.
