World Series of Fighting 2 Photo Gallery - Preliminary Fights

Check out our exclusive photos from WSOF 2 featuring Igor Gracie, Waylon Lowe, Danillo Villefort and Rick Glenn.

"World Series of Fighting 2" went down on March 23 from the Revel Casino in Atlantic City, NJ, and here is your exclusive photo gallery of the prelims. Unfortunately, I missed the first three prelim fights due to a late arrival, but here are the remaining fights, which include Waylon Lowe VS Cameron Dollar, Rick Glenn VS Alexandre Pimentel, Igor Gracie VS Richard Patishnock, and Danillo Villefort VS Kris McCray.

I arrived during the Ozzie Dugulubgov VS Chris Wade fight, and while I do have photos from it, I was not cageside for them so they don't fit in with this gallery. Plus, I was trying to figure out my settings (and find a way to get cageside). By the time I did get there, it was time for Igor Gracie VS Richard Patishnock. Igor was doing a great job of controlling Patishnock for the duration of their short fight, taking his back repeatedly. However, each time he took his opponent's back, he ended up getting flipped over and slammed, the last one hitting with enough force to injure Gracie's shoulder and allowing Richard to collect the victory.

I was quite excited that one of the knockout shots I managed to capture was Waylon Lowe's finishing blow on Cameron Dollar. This was one of the prelim fights that I was looking forward to since I knew it would be a finish, and I lucked out that I had my camera ready in the right spot at the right time.

Kris McCray fought a valiant fight against Danillo Villefort in one of the closest of the prelim fights. It was tough to pick a winner in that one, but then again, I was sitting next to McCray's cornermen, so I may have been biased. Not sure if anyone saw it at home, but it appeared that Villefort either blew blood out of his nose on McCray or spit it on him twice in the fight. The first one he got away with, but the second I believe he got warned. It was a pretty fun scrap to watch live that I hope was as good in person as it was on TV.
