The UFC will return to Seattle for the third time this summer when they present UFC on Fox 8 in July.

The UFC is bring a Fox show back to the Pacific Northwest, this time in the middle of the summer. According to a report from the Seattle Times, UFC on Fox 8 will take place in Seattle's Key Arena on July 27th. This will be the second Fox show in Seattle in a little over seven months, as UFC on Fox 7 took place there last December.

Seattle has been good to the UFC thus far. Back in March 2011 they ran one of their final "Fight Night" cards in the Key Arena and drew a 1.18 million dollar gate. UFC on Fox 5 drew over 14,000 fans and a 1.5 million gate. Tickets for this event will go on sale in the next few weeks. No fights have been announced yet for the card.

The card could very well feature a title defense of local resident Demetrious Johnson, who is the UFC flyweight champion. He recently underwent surgery after an injury cancelled his fight with John Moraga, but he'd definitely be ready to go by then and he might draw a few more fans into the arena as well.
