A look at the performance bonuses and the gate from tonight's UFC 158 card in Montreal.

The UFC's fifth trip to Montreal earned them a solid gate with Georges St. Pierre on top, as expected. The card, headlined by GSP's title defense against former Strikeforce champ Nick Diaz, had a total attendance of 20,145 at the Bell Centre to earn a gate of 3.71 million dollars. There was some initial confusion about the gate at the post-fight press conference, but Dana White was quickly corrected and the total was indeed the 3.71 mil.

In terms of bonuses, the night belonged to welterweights. It wasn't much of a surprise that the co-main event war between Carlos Condit and Johny Hendricks won fight of the night. And Jake Ellenberger picked up the knockout of the night bonus for his KO of Nate Marquardt in the first round of their bout. Each man won the now-standard $50,000.

There were no submissions, so obviously no one got the bonus for that. I wish they could split that 50k between Condit and Hendrivks though, because that was one of the best fights I've ever seen.
