Live results and thoughts for the prelim undercard of UFC 158. The night's main event sees Georges St. Pierre defend his UFC welterweight title against Nick Diaz.
As with every major show, Bloody Elbow will be here to bring you live results, play by play and commentary for UFC 158: St-Pierre vs. Diaz. Our live coverage will start with the fights on Facebook (6:35 p.m. ET) followed by the fights on the FX prelim broadcast (8 p.m. ET) through the pay-per-view main card (10 p.m. ET) so make sure to make Bloody Elbow your home for this event.

Welterweight: Dan Miller vs. Jordan Mein

Welterweight: Rick Story vs. Quinn Mulhern
Bantamweight: George Roop vs. Reuben Duran

George Roop vs. Reuben Duran - Round 1 - Roop out with a few kicks that don't land and a head kick that gets blocked. He's still working the head kicks and now Duran lands a series of hard shots. Leg kick by Duran and now a two punch conbo that hurts Roop. Again Duran with a leg kick. Now Duran with a big takedown. Roop is trying to attack off his back but mostly is just being held on his back. Roop throws some elbows off his back and Duran tags him to the body. Roop with more elbows off the back. Duran passes to half guard as the round ends. 10-9 Duran
Round 2 - Roop with a front kick and Duran is looking for a single leg but has to give up on it. Roop turns and takes Duran down from the back. Roop only has one hook in but he's looking to lock in a choke. Duran defends, stands and turns so that Roop is no longer on his back. Duran wiah a hard right hand and now a takedown. Roop scoots to the cage and stands up without really taking any damage. 10-9 Roop in my eyes to even it up.
Round 3 -Duran with a quick takedown, but Roop up quickly. Now Roop pushing him against the cage and landing a lot of shots. Roop is winning the first 90 seconds of the fight just pinning him against the cage and outworking him. Now Roop gets a takedown and Duran has to do something here. Duran stands up but Roop takes his back standing. Duran gets out and pins Roop against the cage but isn't really doing anything. 10-9 Roop gives him the fight in my eyes.
Official scorecards: 29-28, 29-28, 30-27. George Roop wins by unanimous decision.
T.J. Dillashaw vs. Issei Tamura - Round 1 -Leg kick by Tamura lands. Right hand from Dillashaw and a hard leg kick. Tamura with a right hand and now Dillashaw with a good takedown but Tamura is making him work to get the position, and Tamura stands. Dillashaw with a takedown and Tamura is quickly back up again. Dillashaw is kneeing to the legs against the cage but the crowd is booing the cage work. After they separate, Dillashaw just misses with a head kick. Right hand lands for Dillashaw now. Another good body shot and a right hand for Dillashaw. 10-9 Dillashaw.
Round 2 -Dillashaw with a big head kick and Tamura goes down. Dillashaw with a flurry of hard punches and Tamura is done. Okay then, T.J. That was a violent flurry. T.J. Dillashaw wins by TKO (head kick and punches), round 2.
Rick Story vs. Quinn Mulhern - Round 1 -Story with a hard combination and Mulhern is hurt as he falls to his back. Story makes him stand back up. Story lands another hard flurry of punches. Story is stalking now and Mulhern is trying to stay away. Story flurries again. Story with a leg kick and a hard body shot. Mulhern with a hard punch and Story eats it well. Story is starting to get really reckless now and Mulhern is landing a little bit. Big shot again by Story and he flurries and Mulhern turtles on the ground and it's over. Rick Story wins by TKO (punches), round 1.
John Makdessi vs. Daron Cruickshank - Round 1 - Both men feinting a lot but neither really throwing and Makdessi finally throws a leg kick, Cruickshank returns one of his own. Cruickshank misses a spinning kick and lands a jab. Makdessi throwing some good jabs now. Both men turn up the pace after Makdessi lands an accidental low blow. Now Cruickshank looks for a takedown and Makdessi shrugs him off. Cruckshank with an elbow. Leg kick from Makdessi. 10-9 Cruickshank.
Round 2 - Makdessi lands a good jab. Head kick from Cruickshank gets in a bit. Hard leg kick by Makdessi now. And he pops the jab twice again. Cruickshank with a good uppercut and now Makdessi with a few jabs. Makdessi with a hard left hook after Cruickshank spun without throwing a strike. Makdessi with a spinning kick and another hard shot and Cruickshank was bothered by that and he looks for a takedown but it's not there. Hard jab by Makdessi lands and now Cruickshank returns fire and Makdessi's nose is bleeding. Hard body kick by Cruickshank and now a hard punch combo by Makdessi. Jab by Makdessi. 10-9 Makdessi to even it on my card.
Round 3 - Hard right hand by Cruickshank and Makdessi with a good counter and then a body shot. Jab by Makdessi. Again Makdessi lands a right hand and then a left hand. Cruickshank with a wheel kick that misses and then he goes for a takedown that goes nowhere. Makdessi popping him at will now. Cruickshank shoots again and it's stuffed again. The jab of Makdessi has opned everything up. Spinning back kick to the body by Makdessi. Cruickshank with a poke to the eye that was borderline intentional as he kept pushing his open hand at the face of Makdessi. Makdessi comes out angry now and takes the rest of the round 10-9 Makdessi gives him the win on my card.
Official Scorecards: 29-28 across the board. John Makdessi wins by unanimous decision.
Dan Miller vs. Jordan Mein - Round 1 - Miller with two quick punches and a leg kick. Miller ducks under a punch and gets a quick takedown. Mein tries for a sweep and lands in an armbar but manages to survive and get back to his feet. Very good defense by Mein after a very slick transition from Miller. Right hand by Miller stings him. Good body kick by Miller now. Right hand by Miller again. Big shot by Mein drops Miller but Miller stands back up after Mein steps back. Miller with two punches but he's still a bit shaken up. Mein with a few jabs. Now he lands a hard combination. Miller covers up and Mein flurries away and gets the stoppage. What an impressive performance from Mein. Jordan Mein wins by TKO (punches), round 1.
Antonio Carvalho vs. Darren Elkins - Round 1 -Elkins with a body shot and he gets the clinch but Carvalho circles away. Carvalho is trying to flurry but isn't landing yet. Elkins gets inside again and can't get the takedown but does land a right on the way out. Carvalho lands a left hook. Carvalho stings him again with a few punches and now a good leg kick. Elkins gets stuffed on another takedown and then gets turned into the cage. Elkins stung him and now he flurries and Carvalho is hurt! He can't walk straight and another shot drops him so Yves Lavigne steps in and calls an end to the fight as Carvalho stands. It may have been a little bit early, but he was badly hurt and went down, it's a tough spot for a ref. Darren Elkins wins by TKO (punches), round 1.
Patrick Cote vs. Bobby Voelker - Round 1 - Cote with a leg kick and they trade with Cote getting the better of it. Cote with a nice flurry and he lands a few more shots now. Cote pushing him into the cage and landing a few good shots now. Cote separates now with an elbow. Cote landing a few good shots. Voelker lands a good shit, Cote nods and lands a shot of his own. Voelker with a takedown now. Cote transitions to an armbar off his back but can't finish it. Voelker landing some decent shots from the top while Cote tries (and fails) for an armbar again. 10-9 Cote
Round 2 - They are working against the cage again. Both men are doing a little work with punches and knees. Now Cote flurries hard with a combination. Cote lands another big shot. Now Voelker is landing some good shots of his own and Cote has to back up. Cote with a hard jab. Knee by Voelker and again he lands a big knee. Cote with two hard shots. Voelker with a big left and Cote comes back with some hard shots. Good round. 10-9 Voelker.
Round 3 - Voelker stings him right away and now Cote comes back hard. Cote is slowing down. Voelker ends up taking him down now and he's landing some good shots while Cote starts looking for the armbar again. Cote keeps working for the armbar but it's just not there and he's getting beat up now. Cote manages to stand up with a little over a minute left. Voelker has just beat him up this round. 10-9 Voelker give him a 29-28 on my card.
