With just three days before his title fight with Georges St. Pierre, welterweight contender Nick Diaz has decided to skip the open workouts.
The UFC normally has its top fighters participate in open workout sessions during fight week, and UFC 158 in Montreal is no different. Nick Diaz was scheduled to take part in today's event, which is free to the public, but it looks like that will not happen. According to Ariel Helwani, Diaz won't be showing up at all:
Diaz was supposed to be here 45 mins ago. They are looking to track him down. Still no sign of him at the workouts.

. @cesargraciebjj just told me Nick is not coming to the workouts. "7 hour plane ride while cutting weight is tough. Decided to rest up."

Diaz, who is fighting Georges St. Pierre for the welterweight title on Saturday, was removed from his first title chance against GSP after he no-showed a scheduled media conference.
Cesar Gracie later tweeted that "we" (assuming him and Nick) want to reschedule Diaz's open workout:
We asked @danawhite if we could reschedule open workout. @nickdiaz209 wants to be at his best for this fight.
