It appears that a light-heavyweight matchup between Thiago Silva and Rafael Cavalcante, initially reported for UFC 162 in July, will take place at UFC on Fuel TV 10 in June instead.
A few days ago the UFC confirmed light-heavyweights Thiago Silva and Rafael Cavalcante for UFC 162 in July. According to Tatame there has been a change of plans, and the fight has been moved to an even earlier date of June 8th for UFC on Fuel TV 10.
Both Silva and Cavalcante are coming off suspensions for failed drug tests. Silva had marijuana metabolites in his system while Cavalcante had stanozolol, Thiago's positive drug test resulted in a no-contest over Stanislav Nedkov instead of a 3rd round submission win, and ditto for "Feijao" for his 1st round sub over Mike Kyle in Strikeforce.
