Report: Karlos Vemola vs. Caio Magalhaes added to UFC on Fuel TV 10

Joe Camporeale-US PRESSWIRE

Middleweights Karlos Vemola and Caio Magalhaes are set to battle at UFC on Fuel 10 in Brazil, in what is surely a "loser leaves town" matchup.

Another fight has apparently been made for UFC on Fuel TV 10 in Fortaleza, Brazil, as Karlos Vemola meets Caio Magalhaes in a middleweight contest. Globo SporTV in Brazil initially reported this bout for the June 8th card.

Vemola (9-3 MMA, 2-3 UFC) is in must-win mode following a submission loss to Francis Carmont last July at UFC on Fuel 4. The former Czech national wrestling champion has competed at HW, LHW, and most recently MW in his UFC career, with wins over Seth Petruzelli (holder of the greatest upset in MMA history ) and Mike Massenzio, and losses to Jon Madsen (HW), Ronny Markes (LHW), and Carmont (MW).

Magalhaes (5-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) debuted in the UFC last June against Buddy Roberts, losing by unanimous decision. The Brazilian was scheduled to face Michael Kuiper at UFC on FX 7 in Sao Paulo, but an injury forced him off the card. The BJJ black belt fights out of Fortaleza, where this event is being held.

UFC on Fuel TV 10 also doubles as the TUF Brazil 2 Finale, so at least half of the main card will be TUF related, including the main event between coaches Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Fabricio Werdum.
