Swedish light heavyweight contender Alexander Gustafsson is the early betting favorite for his April 6th fight with Gegard Mousasi.
It appears that the hometown fighter will be the betting favorite going into the main event of UFC on Fuel 9 on April 6th in Stockholm. Alexander Gustafsson, who is in line for a UFC light heavyweight title with a victory here, will take on ex-Strikeforce and Dream champion Gegard Mousasi in the headliner, and the line for the fight dropped a few days ago. Here's what it looks like right now:
I'm not really surprised at that. Gustafsson probably has more ways to win and he's much bigger than Mousasi. But if the line moved any more, I might actually consider a bet on Mousasi. He's a very talented fighter that could present a lot of danger for Gustafsson on the feet or on the ground, and this fight certainly isn't a blowout. Only three sites have dropped a line on the fight so far though, so there might be a better one coming out soon.
