Anne-Marie Sorvin-US PRESSWIRE

Welterweight fighter Matt Riddle will be looking for a new place to ply his trade after a second positive test cost him his job.

It appears that Matt Riddle has ran out of chances with the UFC. The welterweight, who popped for marijuana back at UFC 149 and was outspoken about not wanting to fight in the UK recently, has confirmed to MMA Junkie that he has been released from the promotion following another positive marijuana test after his UFC on Fuel 7 win over Che Mills. Here's what they had to say:

Matthew Riddle was off on his timetable to cease marijuana usage prior to a fight.

The welterweight fighter on Tuesday confirmed to MMAjunkie.com Radio that he failed his second post-fight drug test for marijuana and has been released from the UFC.

Riddle (8-3, 1 NC) has spent his entire career with the UFC thus far, starting out on TUF 7 and earning a spot in the promotion with a win at the finale. He hasn't lost in his last four fights, but one of those was flipped to a No Contest for his positive test in the summer and you'd have to assume this one will be as well. Dana White has been quite vocal about not liking Riddle's performance against Mills, so that might have played a part in it as well.

Does this mean that Che Mills will be brought back now?
