So last week we had THEFILMGUY's fanpost about Movies - it was clearly enjoyed by the community and a shitload of discussion was had. I'm guessing a few of us went and watched some movies we either hadn't heard about, or hadn't gotten around to as a result. That's a good thing, gang.

I mused in the comments section that a Music discussion fanpost might be just as fun for those of us who like to find new music, discuss our old favorites and generally shoot the shit, to an extent, over all things music related.

I'll leave the first comment, but the basic gist of it is to discuss about what I grew up listening to, where it's progressed to and how I find my new music. If you think I'll like something based on an artist I mention - reply so I can keep track as I have been on a voyage of all thing released in the last 2-3 years and have quite enjoyed the experience. I'll also mention where I find my new music.

For those who don't have spotify on their PC's/Laptops/whatever (or an equivalent) - it is one of the better ways to listen to stuff you read about in here, as if you like a group, it'll show you other albums they have and groups similar to them. Although youtube can be used as well if you're just curious and want to check something out.

So now that the cooling off period after the epic movie discussion fanpost has finished, lets go for round 2 - Music edition!

(I am aware there was also a literature fanpost idea in the mix, sorry if I beat you to the punch but I've been itching to post this since the day FILMGUY posted his!)
