UFC president Dana White confirmed the signing of four more women to their bantamweight roster, including former Strikeforce champion Sarah Kaufman.

Following Ronda Rousey's win over Liz Carmouche at UFC 157, the next step for the UFC is to develop the women's bantamweight division. Obviously that means signing more fighters to their roster, and Dana White confirmed the following women have been signed:

All four women formerly competed under the Strikeforce banner. Kaufman, a former Strikeforce bantamweight champion, was Ronda Rousey's final title defense before she moved to the UFC, and shockingly, Rousey won by armbar in under a minute. The Canadian is signed with Invicta FC and scheduled to fight in April, but Kaufman revealed she can compete under both organizations.

Kedzie fought on the same August show as Kaufman, losing to Miesha Tate by 3rd round armbar in a fantastic back-and-forth battle. She is targeting her debut for June. De Randamie, a long-time kickboxing and Muay Thai competitor, earned a decision victory over Hiroko Yamanaka, also on the August event, moving her overall MMA record to 3-2. Nunes went 1-1 in Strikeforce before jumping to Invicta, with an identical 1-1 record and a split-decision loss to Sarah D'Alelio last January.
