Two UFC heavyweights with KO power have verbally agreed to fight each other, as Pat Barry takes on Shawn Jordan at a yet-to-be determined May event.
Heavyweights are set to collide this May, as Pat Barry fights Shawn Jordan at a May UFC event TBD. Bleacher Report's Damon Martin reported the news via Twitter late last night:
You want a new fight? You know you do - How about Pat Barry vs. Shawn Jordan - verbally agreed for May - show to be determined #UFC

Barry (8-5 MMA, 4-5 UFC) is coming off a spectacular KO win over Shane del Rosario in December on the TUF 16 Finale. While he's inconsistent in the ring as far as results -- Barry has yet to win consecutive UFC fights -- he is consistently one of the most exciting HWs in the division.
Jordan (14-4 MMA, 2-1 UFC) rallied from a poor first round against Mike Russow to earn a TKO win over the hammerfist god at UFC on FOX 6 in Chicago. His previous UFC fights came against Cheick Kongo (loss) and Oli Thompson (win).
The only two confirmed May events are UFC on FX 8 in Brazil, and UFC 160 in Las Vegas. If I had to guess, I'd say the Vegas card would be the landing place for this matchup, and could imply another heavyweight-centric PPV similar to UFC 146 last May.
