The UFC has moved a quality light heavyweight bout to the March UFC 171 card, and added a battle of TUF 17 contestants as well.

The UFC has decided to bump back a good light heavyweight bout a month to put it on PPV. And they've also added a battle of TUF 17 contestants to the UFC 171 card, which is scheduled for March 15th in Dallas. Thiago Silva will face off with Ovince St. Preux, while Bubba McDaniel meets Tor Troeng. The UFC News twitter feed has the info:

Silva (16-3, 2 NC) and OSP (14-5) were originally scheduled to meet at UFC Fight Night 35 in February, but the bout was pushed back for unknown reasons. Both men are currently on two-fight winning streaks in the organization.

McDaniel (21-7) is 1-1 in the UFC so far. He defeated Gilbert Smith by submission at the TUF 17 Finale, but was decisioned by Brad Tavares at UFC Fight Night 27 in August. Troeng (16-5) is also 1-1 in the organization, most recently dropping an entertaining decision to Rafael Natal at UFC Fight Night 27 in September.

UFC 171 will be headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between champion Jon Jones and challenger Glover Teixeira.
