According to his TUF Brazil 3 opposing coach, Chael Sonnen won't have to fear for his safety when he's down in Brazil. Wanderlei Silva told MMA Junkie Radio that no one's going to touch him. That is, until Silva gets his hands on him in the octagon:
"He’ll be 100 percent safe. "Just one guy is going to beat him, and this guy is me. Nobody is going to touch you. Brazil is different."
He's still not fond of the things Chael had to say about his country, but he re-iterates that Chael's good to go for a while:
"It’s a joke for you, but it’s not a joke for me and not for my country. But don’t worry. You’re going to be safe. But you’re going to pay for that account in June."
"I don’t like fake people. I don’t like jokes. I don’t like guys who talk stupid things about me, and when you say (those things), you’re going to need to pay."
The two men, who have been talking up a fight for years, will start filming for the show early next year with an all-Brazilian cast. And as Silva stated, they're expected to face off in the octagon in June.
