In the co-main event of UFC 168, Ronda Rousey looked to defend he women's Bantamweight title in a rematch against Miesha Tate. Tate lasted longer than any other of Rousey's challengers, but still couldn't manage to avoid the armbar.
Tate came out swinging early but couldn't keep rousey from clinching up. Rousey tossed her down but couldn't hold the position. Another trip from Ronda, Miesha went for a triangle but got lifted up for her efforts. Back on the feet and Tate scores the takedown. ronda trapped a triangle position of her own, but took her time getting there before escaping to her feet. Ronda scores another toss right into dominant position, but Miesha was able to scramble out. A weak shot from Tate leads to another throw from Ronda. She got back up but, ended up on the wrong side of the clinch and eating shtos as the bell rang.
Ronda entered the second round for the first time in her MMA career. Tate came in for a takedown and got tossed into mount from Rousey. She was able to get back up, but just ended up defending in the clinch again. Ronda threw Tate again. Small success from Tate as she looked to reverse, but Ronda stayed on top. An armbar attempt from Rousey and Tate was able to survive. This round has been all Rousey though. Rousey got Miesha stuck in a reverse triangle position, but Tate kept her arm in to prevent the submission. Dominant round from Ronda.
They head right into the clinch to start round 3. They scrambled through a throw with Rousey finding the armbar position. She rolled Tate over and took the arm to force the tap.

Tate and Rousey first met in March 2012 in Strikeforce. In her 135 lb. debut, Rousey snatched the Strikeforce title from Tate with an armbar in the last minute of the first round.
