In the next few days we're going to read tons of very serious predictions for UFC 168. Every fight will be broken down meticulously, and I'm sure the community will come to a peaceful consensus regarding who will win the main event With that in mind, here are five insane predictions for UFC 168. If you have an equally or more insane prediction, feel free to post it as well.
Gleison Tibau vs. Michael Johnson: During the fight, Mike Goldberg will claim that Gleison Tibau cuts from 287 pounds to make the lightweight limit. He will also repeatedly refer to Michael Johnson as Bobby Green. At which point Johnson will explosively kick Tibau in the groin so hard he is unable to continue.
Result: No contest.
Chris Leben vs. Uriah Hall: Hall will land a punch at some point in the fight. The judges and fans will be left scratching their heads. Unfortunately for his biggest fan on BE, Uriah will find himself on the wrong end of the decision.
Result: Chris Leben by some Type of Way.
Josh Barnett vs. Travis Browne: In typical fashion, Travis Browne will dance around like a 6'7" Clay Guida. However, Barnett will land a wrestling throw nobody has heard of. Rogan will wrongly refer to it as a judo throw, enraging Coach Mike. Barnett will quickly lock up an arm triangle choke and force Browne to tap.
Result: Barnett by submission(arm triangle choke). During his post fight speech Barnett will start to cut a sick wreslting promo, only for Brock Lesnar to appear from under the cage and attack him with a steel chair.
Result: Brock Lesnar by KO.
Ronda Rousey vs. Miesha Tate: For the time in her career, Rousey will be brought out of the first round, at which point she will gas harder than Ben Rothwell at altitude. Caraway will tell her to coast, but not even Miesha listens to Caraway, so she'll continue to punch Ronda until the ref is forced to stop it.
Result: Miesha Tate by TKO(exhaustion).
Chris Weidman vs. Anderson Silva: Early in the fight, Anderson will score a double leg takedown on Chris and land some good ground and pound. However, Weidman will weather the storm and eventually lock up a deep triangle choke. Anderson will refuse to tap and Herb Dean will be forced to stop the fight when Silva becomes unconscious.
Result: Chris Weidman by technical submission(triangle choke) at 4:59 of round 1. Usher and Roy Jones Jr. will not be available for comment.
